Identification Method of Steel Wire Reinforced PVC Hose
Usually the hose quality can be tell by visual, smell, feel etc if no inspection condition or tools available.
1.Check out if the pipe cavity is regular and wall thickness is even. The cross section of hose shall be a standard circle and reinforced steel wire distributes evenly. Take the steel wire reinforced hose as example whose ID is 89mm, wall thickness is 7mm. Max and min wall thickness of poor quality hose reaches 7.5mm and 5.5mm separately. This is visible.
2.Check out if there are bubbles in pipe wall; if it is colourless and transparent. If the colour seems yellow that mean the pipe is not stored properly. Suggest not to purchase.
3.High quality steel wire pipe has a little plastic material smell without other petrochemical smell or low quality diesel smell.
4.The internal and external wall of high quality steel wire hose feels smooth. If not the hose quality is not goods.
5.When measure the pipe wall thickness the middle part of hose shall be sampled to avoid the end adjusted hose.
